The Rockaway Beach Branch has sat abandoned for six decades. Two competing visions have emerged for its future: the QueensWay linear park proposal, and QueensLink, which calls for reactivating the corridor as an M-train extension. This hub compares the QueensLink ridership and cost projections against the findings of the MTA's 2018 sketch assessment , the only official feasibility study conducted to date.
